Welcome! We're pleased that you want to become a part of our shop.
Call to make an appointment to bring in your items.
Most appointments take about 15 minutes and you can look around while we sort through your items.
When you bring your items in, we will select what our customers will buy. Sometimes there will be items that we cannot sell. Please understand that our customers' preferences must guide our selection. You may choose to take these items home or donate them to a thrift shop.
We base prices on supply and demand. We will get the best possible prices for you. Items must have a price of $10 or more.
For Your Convenience, our handy Drop & Run is the perfect way to avoid a wait when you bring in your items.
You will receive 40% of the selling price. You may stop in for any money owed you on the 15th and 30th of each month. We mail checks the 10th of the month for any amount over $25, just in case you haven't been in.
We will display your items for 60 days. The selling price will be reduced by 25% for the second 30 days, and if not sold at that time will be removed from the sale floor.
If you would like to retrieve any unsold items, please do so by the 60th day. Call us ahead of time and we’ll have them ready for you. If you don’t wish to pick up the remaining unsold items, they become the property of Consignment Boutique and may be donated to The Blue Ridge Hospice Thrift Shop (not the Purcellville shop).
We will do our best to safeguard your items, but we are not responsible for damage or loss.
All items must be clean, pressed, in good repair, have no stains and be in good condition. All dresses, jackets and shirts must be on hangers.
Returns may be made for store credit only and within 10 days of purchase.
We look forward to a long and mutually profitable association with you. After all, we couldn't do it without you, our partner in consigning!
We are honored that you have chosen Consignment Boutique.
